Osteopathy

What is it?

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that aims to help individuals resolve pain and loss of function in their musculoskeletal system. It can be useful for the treatment of both long-term and short-term problems.

How does it work?

During your initial session, we take a case history and then examine you to ensure we understand your problem thoroughly. This will enable us to formulate a personalised plan for your recovery. We use a mixture of massage, gentle manipulation, dry needling and Pilates exercise to help you heal.
NB: please bring shorts or wear suitable underwear as the clinician may ask you to remove clothing during your assessment

Sports Massage Therapy

What is it?

Sports massage is a targeted, hands-on treatment designed to relieve muscular tension, improve movement and support recovery.

Whether you're dealing with the demands of daily life, repetitive strain, or sporting activity, this treatment focuses on the underlying causes of discomfort - not just the symptoms. Using a range of soft tissue techniques, we work to release tightness, improve muscle flexibility and restore optimal function.

Sports massage can be used both reactively (to address pain or injury) and proactively, helping to prevent issues before they develop and keep your body moving well.

Each session is tailored to your individual needs, whether that’s focused treatment on a specific area or a more general full-body approach.

NB: please bring shorts or wear suitable underwear as the clinician may ask you to remove clothing during your treatment. Draping will always be used to ensure comfort and privacy.
